May 2016 Favorites

May has been a crazy one crazy month with moving into a new apartment, a cancelled weekend getaway due to work, missing a major family event and just all around craziness I hardly had time to enjoy a lot of things since I have been so busy. Even with all the craziness I managed to pull a few things I have been loving this month to share with you.

Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask

I bought this back in April after hearing so many good things about I decided to give it a try myself. I really enjoy using the mask especially since my face has been breaking out like crazy recently due to stress, I’ve been using it twice a week to get my pores nice and clean, removing any dirt or makeup that may have been still on my face. This mask really does clean my skin really well and I do see a difference throughout the week. It also  funny when I first walk out the rest room with it on and scare the life out of my parents… so whenever I wear it I have to send out a warning before I come out the restroom.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation

This has been in my makeup collection for a sometime now and I finally putting it in a favorites. This is this first high end foundation I purchased after my friend Narda suggest I try it. Good Golly Ms. Molly this is my favorite foundation it feels like there is nothing on when you apply it and it is so gentle on the skin. I actually need to go pick up another bottle because I use it most of time I do my makeup. The bottle it’s in isn’t that great when it comes to traveling because it long a little bigger than the foundation I usually wear but it so worth it.

Urban Decay Naked Pallets

On a recent trip to California I was able to pick these up at the Santee Alley for whole sale for $50 for all four of the pallets. I am in loooooovvveee with these pallets I use them all the time now and my skills with eyeshadow have improved my 1,000%. I normally use these on their own when I feel like having a natural eyeshadow or I’ll mix and match the colors to create a bold look or just to add a bit more color depending on what my mood is an where I’m going.

Lemonade by Beyoncé

This album is amazing, I love the message behind each song and don’t even get me started on the visuals there are just wow so pretty amazingly done I can’t put into words. If I had to pick a favorite song I would be stuck between Sorry, Don’t Hurt Yourself, 6 inch or Pray you Catch me. I have been listening to it on repeat and I’m not even tired of it –If you watch my snapchat story you’d see what I mean-. I suggest if you haven’t listen to it that you do.

General Admission by Machine Gun Kelly

I’ve been of MGK since I hear Wild Boy on the radio for the first time, I will admit I did lose his music for a while but one day he popped up on my Spotify and I went to check out his new music and ever since then I have been in love with his new album. This album is one big story that is so touching and it’s so full of emotion and truth. That’s why MGK is one of my favorite rappers is because he’s so honest and raw when it comes to his lyrics. Again another album you should check out if you haven’t.

 Pact App

About a month or two ago I heard of an app called pact which is basically a great motivation to keep you exercising and eating healthier because you have money on if you complete your goals for the week. All you have to do is set a goal of how many days you track your food log, veggies eaten and how many times you’ve been to the gym. If you do all the days you're rewarded with money from Pact if not you cough up $5 to go towards the Pact community.

Sending you peace, love and happiness
