Review: Cover Girl “The Super Sizer” Mascara

On an unintentional trip to Walmart about a month back, I picked up the Covergirl Super Sizer Mascara in the shade very black for $5.94. Since I was in a dire need of a mascara or be stuck using a truly crappy drugstore mascara that flaked and smudged- cringe-. Therefore, I thought why don't I just give it a try, if I don't like it I'll come back and pick up my usual Maybelline Great Lash Mascara.

 My Thoughts

First I want to talk about the packaging. I am strangely obsessed with the colors, the blue and lime green-maybe not the actually shade of green but just go with it- are really pretty together. As I was saying, it is a little bigger than a regular sized tube of mascara which fits fine into my makeup bag. Secondly, the want is thin and is a combination of long and teeny tiny bristles-which has heaps of product on it-. I would have to say the wand is my favorite part of the product not only because of the bristles on the want but the want is actually slightly bendable which I find really cool.

To actually apply it you’re supposed to twirl it whilst going over your lashes for “super-sized volume”. I actually didn’t do that until I actually did research on the product. In the end my lashes looked just the same as they normally would when put on mascara either way it looks nice. The only fault I have about the product that I have noticed is clumping. I don't know if fanning out lashes includes slight clumping but I’m not a major fan of it but it still doesn't look to bad.

Would I rebuy/recommend?

Yes, I would definitely re-buy this product and recommend it-which is basically what I’m doing now-minus the clumping I don’t really see fault any fault in it. Because it does fan out the lashes and gives them a little bit of volume.
