Black Lipstick Makeup Tutorial

Hello friends today I wanted to give you guys a way to wear black lipstick. When I was a local beauty store I noticed the lipstick section and the first thing that caught my attention was the different color of lipsticks that was on display wanting to step out of my comfort zone and try two different colors a purple (post coming soon) and the black and I wanted to show you guys how I planned to wear when I go out. I also apologize in advance for the length of this post.



First I apply my Mary Kay Foundation Primer to help cover any redness and to make sure my makeup stays in place.

Next I will put on my M.A.C Pro Longwear foundation in the color NC50 with my Mary Kay Liquid Foundation Brush.

After my foundation is on I will use my LA Colors Concealer in the shade Nude under my eyes and on any spots I have and blend it in with my fingers. I've used this foundation for a few months now and it is not the best concealer when it comes to coverage but it is really lightweight and easy to apply.

The next step for me usually is to fill my brow with my Mary Kay Eyeliner angled brush. since I am going for a dark lip I'm going to keep my eyebrows light an only fill them in slightly.

To add a slight glow to my face I will use my Mary Kay Be Radiant Baked Powder and apply it all over my face with my Mary Kay Powder brush.

For my cheeks I'm going to use my Aziza II two tone blush. I'm going to use the peachy color on the right to contour my cheeks and use the pink tone for a slight blush using my Mary Kay Blush brush.

Onto eyes, I don't want to do too much with my eyes so I'm going to keep it simple and apply my M.A.C Vanilla all over the my lids with a crease brush from a company I don't know the name of seeing that the brush set was a gift.

For a little flair on my eyes I'm going to use my E.L.F Eyeliner in black to trace along my lash line with a little wing.

To end the eyes I will use my Ruby Kisses Super Mascara(also found in the beauty store) for my top lashes and my Maybelline Great Lash Mascara for my bottom lashes.

Finally onto the lips, first I will apply a layer of Blistex Medicated Balm.

Next I will line my lips with my Cherimoya Eye and Lip Pencil in the color black (found in the beauty store).

Last but not least I apply my Kollection Moist Colors Lipstick in the shade Black 75 onto my lips to complete the look.
